The course I teach is called “Life Studies” because we’ll be studying life - not simply reading about it. We'll make messes (and clean them up) as we investigate specimens with our five senses. The course is broken down into 4 sections:

Plants (Botany)
Animals (Zoology)
Ecosystems (Ecology)
Human Impact

You’ll learn to use a variety of digital media tools (video, photography, blogs, emails, shared documents, websites) to create your own digital portfolios of your highest quality work.

Hi Future Scientists,

Today (or Tomorrow for F block) we worked on getting feedback and revising our first Plant Investigation.

In class we did the following:

- Gallery Walk to view Plant Investigations
- Create a Rubric to grade the plant investigations together as a class.
- Revise your Plant Investigation after getting feedback and the new rubric ideas

In order to keep your identity safe, it's important that you do NOT use your last name or email anywhere on your blog. Follow these guidelines...

- Blog Title: First's Portfolio (example: David's Portfolio)
- Blog URL: ndhsapFIRST1234 (where 1234 is the first four digits of your school ID)
