Complete the organizers on Page 25 (competition, extinction and Galapagos Islands).
Definitions:
- Competition - When one organism interacts with another organism or species for limited resources in an environment. Resources can be food, water, and territory) used by both can be a factor. The interaction determines who will survive.
- Extinction - The process of a species having no more living members.
- Galapagos Islands - A set of islands off the coast of Ecuador (South America) that were explored by Charles Darwin in the 1830's. His discoveries led to the the theory of evolution.
